Through My Tears

view from my room

I’m sitting watching hummingbirds visit the flowers outside of the window in the room where I now live in my dear friend’s house. She and her family took my dog & I in when the bank finally decided to foreclose on my house. I had expected that, because the paperwork had been going on for years. What I hadn’t expected was the death of my 31 year old son on Valentine’s Day just 2 months prior to losing my house. Nothing in the world compares to this pain. He had just begun to get some hope for his life after struggling for many years. We were all so encouraged that he was in a loving relationship with a sweet girl he knew from childhood. Losing him so suddenly was a terrible shock. He was always so fun-loving and sweet.

Although, I know the cause of death; the fact that God allowed it at his young age makes no sense to me whatsoever. I’m told by others who have lost a child that you never really recover from this type of grief. You simply learn to move forward.

I’m confident of only two things.

Number one, my son was a child of God, so I know he is in Paradise.

And number two God’s Love And Mercy never ceases.

Through my tears, I have seen God’s Love And Mercy in the kindness of friends & family. I believe that someday, according to Revelation 21:4, my Heavenly Father will wipe away all of these tears of disappointment & grief from my eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old painful things from the corruption of this earthly life will disappear. I will hold my son and he will be smiling radiantly. I know he’ll have many things to tell me of his experiences in Heaven while he waited for me to finish running my race on this planet. I pray I finish well for the Glory of God.

Whatever you are going through in your life right now, I hope you can find peace in the never failing Love of God. GLAM – (God’s Love And Mercy) is abundant and free. Please take time to read more about getting your >>> Free Miracle Makeover <<<

Snowflake Fact #1

Snow is Not White:  Snow is actually clear and colorless.

“The complex structure of snow crystals results in countless tiny surfaces from which visible light is efficiently reflected. What little sunlight is absorbed by snow is absorbed uniformly over the wavelengths of visible light thus giving snow its white appearance.” – National Snow and Ice Data Center

Snowflake Fact #2

All snowflakes are a combination of the number six for simple chemical reasons – they’re all variants of the water molecule. If you had a big magnifier and stepped outside with your children on a cold winter day to watch snow fall from the sky, here is what you might observe – six-sided hexagonal crystals, needles or flat six-sided crystals, and a wide variety of six-sided shapes.  Despite all snowflakes having six sides, not two snowflakes are exactly identical. Interesting that 6 is often the number that represents humanity in the Bible.

GLAM thoughts About this season

First Day of the NEW Year

The Very First Day of this BRAND NEW YEAR2013-Maserati

Whether it’s a shiny new penny , a shiny new Maserati, or a shiny new year, we are all fascinated by the NEW.

On this first day of this brand new year I’d like to encourage us to re-visit WHY the new fascinates and excites us so. Why does beginning afresh encourage our spirits and energize our souls?  It is important that we have a healthy understanding of where these attitudes and viewpoints really come from. We need to be willing to get rid of wrong thinking and any potentially damaging philosophies.

GLAM….. Where it counts!

You look great !?    Great!  GREAT?

Now,   how are you doing on the inside?

Are you doing GREAT  on the inside?

Down deep where nobody sees?

Got GLAM on the inside?

On this website GLAM is an acronym for God’s Love And Mercy !

I’m referring to the  God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob , revealed to Moses as YHWH. His message to you, being part of His creation,  is that you are Beautiful to Him!  He longs to give you His Shalom (wholeness in every area of your life). His plans for you are perfect. If you allow Him to be your shepherd, you will be able to say like KIng David did ;

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness. For His name’s sake.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and loving-kindness will follow me all the days of my life,And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.~Book of Psalms Chapter 23

AHHHHHHH!!!   Now that’s what I call GLAM !!!

Sooooo???? you look great!?    Great!

Now,   how are you doing on the inside?

Down deep where nobody sees?

Got GLAM on the inside?

The recent tragic death of a hollywood diva, Whitney Houston revealed the inner pain and insecurities of someone most of us adored.

This video clip below of Kevin Costner sharing his heart at her funeral includes this quote,

“The Whitney I knew, despite her success and worldwide fame, still wondered ‘am I good enough? Am I pretty enough, will they like me?”

In Kevin Costner’s emotional speech he mentions some things that he thinks Whitney would say to other women who felt the way she did…

so I include it herein with the hopes that if you watch it you will be reminded that you have a  Heavenly Father who loves you and says that you are

Beautiful Inside and out !!!
