Be honest with yourself;
 do you take one full day...
24 hours ; every week...and
 relax....
no phone...no TV....no computer....aagghh....
Being thankful to God for your life...
for your blessings....?
Did I hear you laugh? 
Do you have a list of excuses ?
 
"Remember the Sabbath"
is the  4th  commandment !
Before any of those others.....
Jesus said concerning the Sabbath law that it was made "for man"...for our benefit. ( in Mark 2:27-28)
It adds GLAM to our Soul !
God wants us to have GLAM!
 
 Whether the exact day..must be Saturday or Sunday or Tuesday....that may be debatable....
(take time to watch this video,based on biblical truth,regarding the Sabbath) 
 
In any case ; I am referring as Jesus did towards the "spirit" of the law which is deeper and beyond the specific law given to  Moses.
 
I believe the quanity of time (24 uninturrupted hours )and the quality ( focusing on relaxing and enjoyment of God and loved ones ) as described by God are both absolutely  essential for our well being.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Think about this....
When we obey God, even when it
seems                
impossible, doesn't He always bless us ?       Think of tithing. We know that giving back to God what He says is His ( 1/10 ) is for our own good. He doesn't need our money.DUH!                                                                
 But when we first try to see how we can financially swing it , it usually seems hard or impossible. However, God blesses our obedience and the money goes even further than we thought it could have, right ?....right. Time is no different. And tithing is not even one of the "big ten !" Well I challenge you to prayerfully consider this for the good of your own soul. 
  

 

 

 

 

 Consider the lilies of the valley they toil not neither do they spin. Yet Solomon in all of his Glory was not arrayed like one of these.Jesus
