 Valleys and Shadows

 "Lightlessness"...oh yes,
 a new name will improve my journey
 No ...it is "darkness"
  Words are only words
 
 Don't trivialize my pain
 Valleys and Shadows
 I will walk through them
Let me
 
 The promise is that I need not fear the evil
 Evil is real casting shadows in valleys
 
 The promise is that my God will comfort me
 Pain is real and I will need comfort
 
 Where is your rod dear Lord ?
 Show me your staff my Savior ?
 
 Hold out your hand kind Shepherd
 Lead me ,
 Help me back to your
 wonderful Kingdom of Light.  
 
 In dedication to a very sweet friend for her tragic loss
